Trail Running – Koromilia Refuge
Koromilia is situated in the center of a dense accumulation of paths and is, therefore, used by several official and acclaimed trail running races which take place inside the National Park of Olympus, such as the Olympus Marathon, Lost Trail, Olympus Mythical Trail and Almira-X.
Using Koromilia as a basecamp, those interested can trail-run in a 200 km network of paths. There are paths that can take you to Litohoro, to the village of Vrontou and the Krevatia Refuge, to the Petrostrougka Refuge and the E4. Moreover, you can explore the paths that link different canyons and creeks such as Xylias, Orlias, Archangel Gabriel, Arapis, Ag. Kori, Ag. Triada.
