Koromilia Refuge – Καταφύ犀利士
γιο Κορομηλιάς
Koromilia is a mountain refuge on the north-east side of Mt.Olympus, at 1.020m. altitude within the National Park.
This part of the mountain, famous for its natural lagoons of the Orlias canyon, is daily being “discovered” by nature lovers with hidden treasures and well- preserved paths all the way up to the alpine zone.
The famous “Rahi” path, reaching Koromilia, is the one that ancient residents of Dion used in order to climb Olympus as it was forbidden for humans to reach the top which “belonged” to Gods alone.
Koromilia prides itself on being a well-organised center for outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, canoying, orienteering and more.
The 3-roomed guesthouse can accommodate about 18 people while in the restaurant you can find a variety of dishes with organic, local ingredients to suit every taste or diet frame.
